Patio Pavers Create Brautiful Entertaining Areas

Designing your patio pavers should be approached methodically and should take things like functionality, accessibility and existing elements into consideration. Think about your landscape planters and how the perimeters are formed. Do they take right angels? Are they free formed and meandering? Mirror those lines with your patio pavers to create extensions from your garden to your patio.

Patio pavers make for a lifetime of good use. Most manufacturers warranty their patio paver against chipping or cracking for as long as you own your home. And most companies that install pavers offer a three year installation guarantee or more. Pavers, when installed correctly, are built to last and should only require minimal maintenance compared to other pavement types.

Patio pavers come in many shapes and sizes – manufacturers like RCP, Angelus, Belgard, Ackerstone and Orco offer basic, designer and specialty patio pavers. Standard pavers, such as ‘Antique Cobble’ pavers (which are a non-tumbled, beveled paver that usually comes in rectangle and square shapes) are the most purchased stones by home owners. These pavers come in a wide variety of colors and are the most affordable option if your paver project is on a tight budget. Designer pavers, such as ‘Dublin Cobble’ come in a three or four stone package. These pavers are typically tumbled around the edges to give your patio pavers an “old world” look and feel. Then there are specialty pavers. These pavers are typically tumbled and are rated for commercial vehicle (such as city operated garbage trucks) use at 80mm in thickness. If you plan on driving a motor home or other vehicle in excess of 10,000lbs, you certainly will want to consider a specialty stone.

Panjia can help with your patio paver project no matter how small or large it may be. We have been installing patio pavers in San Diego, Orange County, Riverside and the Inland Empire for nearly a decade and are ready to meet with you to design your next project.
